about christina
I am the first-born, competitive as they come, and a Leo, so I have always been a leader. I fell in love with communications during my first year in college, and have kept that same passion after more than a decade of doing this work. I loved the challenge and intensity of agency life in my early career, but I have felt most at home working directly with companies to tell their stories through a multitude of channels. I firmly believe that meaningful content paired with the right communications strategy is powerful.
My background is multi-faceted, ranging from public relations to public affairs, crisis communications to internal communications, marketing to freelance writing, and more. Prior to starting my own business five years ago, I worked at a public relations and public affairs firm in Downtown Sacramento. There, I spearheaded both national and statewide public relations campaigns for several clients including major fitness corporations, higher educational institutions, top associations and multiple government agencies.
These days, as a solo freelancer, you’ll find me at my computer (hopefully with a good latte in hand), creating new ideas, stories and content. I take a collaborative approach with my clients, and deliver all projects on time and on budget.
When I’m not working, you can find me chasing my three small children: Benjamin, Grace and Jack. I also co-lead a ministry, Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) that serves to support and equip mothers of young children. Cumulatively, my husband Andrew and I have called Sacramento home for nearly 25 years, and love the community, our neighbors and all that the city has to offer.
